Breaking Bad fans are being recommended an 'impeccable' TV series that's recently joined Netflix.

It's both co-created by and features Bryan Cranston, with some fans reckoning its a close second to the hit AMC TV series.

Netflix is constantly shaking up its digital library, and while it means some absolute gems are gone for good, we also get some goods thrown in.

And this 96 percent rated show is one of them.

The show in question centers on Marius Josipović (portrayed by Giovanni Ribisi), a con‑man freshly released from prison who adopts the identity of his cell‑mate to evade a vengeful gangster, Vince Lonigan (Cranston).

Seeking refuge, he integrates into his cell-mate's estranged family, who run a bail bonds business and are unaware of his deception.

As Marius navigates this new life, he becomes entangled in family secrets, criminal dealing and the mounting complexity of maintaining his cover.

The show's star-studded cast also features Margo Martindale, Marin Ireland, Shane McRae, Libe Barer and Michael Drayer.

The Amazon original series ran for three seasons between 2015 and 2019 before making its Netflix US debut on July 10.

The show in question is called Sneaky Pete, and it boasts a 96 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating.

Critics described it as 'suspenseful, smart, and terrifically cast,' adding that it's 'part dramedy, part crime caper, and all in all entertaining.'

Elsewhere on the site, one fan hailed Sneaky Pete 'binge-worthy,' while others compared it to Breaking Bad.

"Definitely a great show if you were a fan of Breaking Bad," one person reckoned. "Might even be the first show I've seen that is close to Breaking Bad in quality in that genre." A second reckoned it was a 'more down to Earth' Breaking Bad, noting that it 'takes you on mental and emotional trip.'

A third hailed it a 'must-see' for fans of the show. The discussion continued elsewhere, when one Reddit user asked for a new show to watch.

"Haven’t heard anyone talk about it but I like Sneaky Pete. It’s new on Netflix, originally Prime show," one fan vouched.

"Omg so good!" a second chipped in. "I originally watched it on Prime, and now watching it on Netflix," they continued before declaring their love for Giovanni Ribisi. "We just started it today!" another social media user shared. "Very interesting so far. Good cast, too."

All three seasons of Sneaky Pete are streaming now on Netflix in the US.
