Julia Louis-Dreyfus describes her son's racy scenes in The Sex Lives of College Girls as 'dynamite'

Julia has no problem with her son's sex scenes

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is so proud of her son for following in her footsteps and becoming an actor - so proud that she's happy to overlook his racy sex scenes.

The Seinfeld and Veep star has opened up about what it's like to see her 25-year-old son Charlie Hall's new role in Mindy Kaling's hit series The Sex Lives of College Girls.

As the title would suggest, Charlie is one actor of many who has some pretty full-on sex scenes in the show - and his mother couldn't be happier for him.

In fact, she thinks it's 'dynamite'.

Julia was speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live when the topic of Charlie's racy scenes inevitably came up in conversation.

When asked if she's comfortable watching her son on the TV show, Julia said: "I did watch the show! I think he was really great, I mean, he was adorable.

"He was f***ing some girl in the library and I thought it was dynamite!" she laughed.

Jimmy then joked: "Makes you feel good about teaching them how to read, right?"

In the hit series, Charlie plays Andrew Fuller, a college student who has a fling with series star Whitney (Alyah Chanelle Scott).

This leads to some very steamy scenes in the science lab, the library, and on a basketball court.

Despite their adventurous sex-capades, however, it doesn't end up working out for Whitney and Andrew, so Julia probably won't have to sit through too many more sex scenes.

Elsewhere in her chat with Jimmy, Julia explained how her sons Charlie and Henry, 30, helped her prepare for her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

Julia first appeared in the MCU in 2021's Black Widow, before briefly appearing in two episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and making a major cameo appearance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

She plays Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the director of the CIA who personally recruited Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova.

Explaining her sons' involvement in her Marvel career, Julia told Jimmy: "My adult sons are huge Marvel fanatics and for a long time they're like 'mom, you should be in a Marvel movie, you got to be in a Marvel movie.'

"I'm like, 'oh yeah, they're never going to want me to be in a Marvel movie', and then they did!"

Julia also confirmed that Marvel fans will see her next in the upcoming film Thunderbolts, which is slated for release in July 2024.

Not much is known about the flick just yet, but the actor could share that it's about 'good guys doing bad and bad guys doing good.'

Alongside Julia, the film will also star Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster.
