While time is running out for Wick, the long runtime for Chapter 4 suggests he may actually have quite a fair chance at finally earning his freedom.

The massive runtime had been previously teased by director Chad Stahelski and it appears he has remained true to his word.

In a November 2022 interview with Collider, he revealed he watched the then recent ‘version of the cut’ almost 100 times and still loved every minute.

He said: “Look, I've watched this thing now, this version of the cut, close to 100 times, and another 100 by the end of the month at least. And this is the first one that we watch. I don't get bored at all. It's my own film.

"I know it's weird to say, but I watch it, and I was like, ‘Oh, I'm still in the movie.’ It doesn't take me out. I don't ever feel like, ‘F*ck, just end this thing already. I can't watch it again'."

I mean, nobody's gonna complain about having Keanu Reeves on screen for close to three hours are they?

Laurence Fishburne is also reprising his role as the Bowery King, while Ian McShane and Lance Reddick return as the manager and concierge of the Continental Hotel.

Producers have remained tight lipped on the specifics about John Wick's next adventure, but they have shared is: "With the price on his head ever increasing, legendary hitman John Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin."
