Everything Everywhere All at Once up for huge number of Oscars as nominations revealed

The film is up for ten awards.

It's officially Oscars season, baby! The nominations are out and Everything Everywhere All At Once is sweeping the board.

The heart-wrenching sci-fi directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert has already bagged a bunch of awards across the Golden Globes, Critics Choice and beyond, but now they're taking over the Academy Awards.

Starting off strong, the film is nominated for Best Picture, alongside All Quiet on the Western Front, Avatar: The Way Of Water, The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, The Fabelmans, Tár, Top Gun: Maverick, Triangle of Sadness and Women Talking.

Both Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu are up for Best Supporting Actress for their performances in the film.

Stephanie plays Evelyn's daughter Joy, as well as the godly, multiverse-jumping Jobu Tupaki in the action adventure, while Jamie Lee plays IRS inspector Deirdre Beaubeirdre.

Stephanie and Jamie Lee are up against Angela Bassett for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Hong Chau for The Whale, and Kerry Condon for The Banshees of Inisherin.

Meanwhile, Ke Huy Quan is up for Best Supporting Actor, for his portrayal of Evelyn's husband Waymond Wang.

The role has already landed Ke with a number of awards this season, including a Golden Globe, a Critics' Choice Award, and a Gotham Award.

Ke is up against both Brendan Gleeson and Barry Keoghan for The Banshees of Inisherin, Judd Hirsh for The Fabelmans, and Brian Tyree Henry for Causeway.
