Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has dropped major hints about cameos for the new Dr Strange movie.

Liefeld appeared on The Big Thing podcast with Kristian Harlof, where he discussed rumours about Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Marvel's Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is due to hit cinemas on May 6, but rumours are already swirling following test screenings of the movie, and fans will be even more excited after Liefeld's discussion, dropping major hints towards the even more major cameos.

The conversation started when Harloff brought up 'rumours that Tom Cruise is gonna pop in as Iron Man, there's rumours that you're gonna get a variant of Reed Richards in there' with regards to the new Dr Strange film.

The host then asked Liefeld what he wanted to see, and the Deadpool creator questioned whether Harlof or his co-host Coy Jandreau had been caught trying to sneak into a test screening. Jandreau said he had in fact been caught, twice.

Liefeld went on to say that he asked because 'they are testing the sh*t out of this movie' and that these screenings were where a lot of the leaks came from, saying 'it's all getting out'.

Then Liefeld, referencing the rumours Harlof had earlier mentioned, said 'it's safe to say, some of the stuff you just said that's out there, it's happening, it's been seen', seemingly confirming rumours that the film would feature massive cameos – though not specifying which.

Liefeld also said that, after the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Disney 'need Dr Strange to hit multiple home runs'.

The comic creator noted the incredible success of the latest Spider-Man movie, saying, 'Everyone wanted to see this movie. Everyone was there to see Spider-Man. It was triumphant.,' suggesting that's why 'they're testing the crap out of [Dr Strange]'.

Liefeld then went on to explain what else he'd want to see from the movie, saying he'd love to see cameos from the Fox show characters, presumably the X-Men and Deadpool, 'I wanna see these in case of emergency moves. You've got them behind glass, all the Fox sh*t is there. Break all that glass, bring it all in, we want that.'

'And I know on some level, some of it is already there,' he added.

Before saying that he'd probably get in trouble for seeming to confirm the rumours, he joked, 'I have just revoked every, every one of my [Marvel] passes just got revoked because I'm having a good time on your show.'
