A YouTuber is attempting to beat MrBeast's 2017 record where he counted to 100,000 in one of his early videos.
At the time of writing, MrBeast's original video has over 33 million views. The now-viral sensation, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, counted up to the extremely high number in the stunt that helped launch his career.
Now MrBeast is one of the biggest names on YouTube and boasts a staggering 476 million subscribers on the video sharing platform.
The final edited video ran for nearly 24 hours.

Now it seems as if fellow YouTuber Lets Test Laurence would like some similar success and is currently attempting to beat MrBeast's original 2017 record and count to 100,001 (obviously).
Lets Test Laurence started his stream on February 13 and, at the time of writing, he was approaching the 71,000 mark.

He reached 40,000 after 24 hours of streaming, as his followers cheered him on.
Watching as Lets Test Laurence counts to 100,001, the YouTuber appears to (understandably) be flagging. Only time will tell if he completes the challenge...
In light of MrBeast's original video helping him become popular, he recently discussed the career-defining moment with Jimmy Fallon.
Calling the video his 'proudest accomplishment', the YouTube star shared: "The entire time, I was watching Game of Thrones and Naruto.
"But people don’t know that. And it’s just me counting. And so it looks like I’m just sitting there staring at a wall for, you know, 40 hours. [...] They’re more clicking, like, 'What is this idiot doing? Like, what an absolute moron.'"
MrBeast went on to reveal what one of his favorite videos he’s made is.
He recalled: "We put a Lamborghini on train tracks, and then I gave someone my credit card. I said they could buy whatever they want and if they stopped the train before it gets to the Lamborghini – basically derail it – they keep the Lamborghini."
Fallon went on to question how he was able to do it while noting that he has to get permission from NBC for most things that he does, to which MrBeast said: "As long as it's legal, I can pretty much do anything that I want [on YouTube]."
And it's safe to say he's done just that. From getting 30 celebs to fight for $1,000,000 to 100 kids taking on the world's strongest man, MrBeast has thought of creating content with just about anyone and anything.
