YouTuber MrBeast has revealed how little money he keeps in his personal bank account, despite his net worth giving him 'billionaire' status.

Trapping a man inside a burning house and recreating Squid Game in real life has led Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, to have become one of the world's most recognised YouTubers.

However, it's not only his YouTube videos and sponsorship deals which have led him to obtaining a projected net-worth of at least $2.6 billion, as per Fortune.

Alongside his YouTube channel - sporting 460 million followers - Donaldson launched a viral restaurant, aptly named MrBeast Burger, chocolate brand and lunchables food product. He also has a series with Amazon Prime Video with the second season released this year. According to Fortune, his entertainment endeavours are worth a total whopping $5 billion.

Although, just because he's raking it in via his channels and companies, apparently MrBeast doesn't actually have much cash readily available to him in his own bank account and his personal financial situation has even resulted in him 'borrowing money'.

Donaldson told the Wall Street Journal earlier this year he has so 'little money' he's been 'borrowing money'.

The YouTuber explained he finds it 'funny' to talk about his 'personal finances, because no one ever believes anything' he says.

However, his reality is 'technically, everyone' watching his interview with the outlet 'has more money than' he does 'in their bank account'. How?

Well, 'if you subtract the equity value of' his company, then MrBeast claims he's left with an amount which doesn't even afford him a 'McDonald's in the morning'.

Despite people constantly speaking about his 'billionaire' status, Donaldson emphasized: "That’s net worth. I have negative money right now."

Although, unlike most of us when we have too little money to afford McDonald's left in our accounts, Donaldson isn't exactly stressing about it.

He reflected: "I wake up, I just work…I’m just so busy working I don’t really think about my personal bank account.

"I’m just laser-focused on making the greatest videos as possible, and building the business as big as possible."

And it's not the first time MrBeast has spoken out about his personal finances.

In May last year, Dextero shared a post stating MrBeast was the 'only billionaire under 30 to not have inherited his wealth'.

MrBeast took to the comments to add: "I personally have very little money because I reinvest everything (I think this year we’ll spend around a quarter of a billion on content). Ironically i’m actually borrowing $ from my mom to pay for my upcoming wedding lol."

Although, he resolved by admitting: "But sure, on paper the businesses I own are worth a lot."
