Shakira Fans Think Singer Hinted At Relationship Trouble In Latest Single As She Confirms Split From Gerard Piqué

Shakira has revealed she and Barcelona star Gerard Piqué have parted ways, a split fans believe was hinted towards in her latest song.
The pair first met on the set of one of Shakira's – full name Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll – music videos in 2010.
They have been together since 2011 and share two sons.
However, today, 4 June, Shakira's agency confirmed the singer and Piqué have split up.

Fans have since speculated whether one of Shakira's latest tunes points to when the relationship started to break down.
The statement released by the singer's agency reads: "We regret to confirm that we are parting ways.
"For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy.
"Thank you for your understanding."
The last image of the pair on Shakira's Instagram was posted on Valentine's Day.
Since Shakira's announcement of their split, fans of the Hips Don't Lie singer have flooded to the post in support.
However, one follower also speculated whether Shakira's song Te Felicito (I Congratulate You) was a hint as to the couple's relationship troubles.
Te Felicito sees Shakira team up with Puerto Rican singer and rapper Rauw Alejandro. The track is the Columbian's singer's first release of 2022.
The lyrics read: [Translation] "To complete you, I broke into pieces/ They warned me, but I didn’t listen/ I realized that your love is false/ It was the final drop that tipped over the glass."
Shakira then sings about an apology that 'seems sincere' but that she knows is a 'lie'.
"I congratulate you, how well you act, of that I have no doubt/ Your script continues. That show suits you well," the song continues.
The music video also features Shakira building a robot boyfriend.
Fans have since flooded to the music video in the belief that Shakira was sending 'signals' with her latest song.
"[Translation] Shakira is one of those people who should never get old, you have won everything, you have done and you have reached where you wanted, you don't need people you don't deserve in your life. My total support and love for you," another said.
"[Translation] Strength Shakira, all the public are supporting you on social media, including people who aren't even your fans... You're going to come out of this strong darling," a third wrote.
A final resolved: "[Translation] If I'm honest, this song didn't catch my attention and I'm a super fan of Shakira's. But look at these lyrics. If I paid attention to it today, it perfectly describes the situation she is apparently experiencing.
"Something that is consistent with everything that can be felt after a betrayal, a description worthy of it. I imagine the pain she must have felt, but at the same time the courage to move on."
Neither Shakira nor Piqué have revealed any details behind the split.
