Rebel Wilson says becoming a mother has been 'life changing'
The star welcomed her first baby via surrogate this week
Rebel Wilson has opened up about the ‘life changing’ first week of motherhood following the arrival of her daughter Royce Lillian.
The Aussie star shared an update with her fans on Instagram about how she’s settling into her new life with baby Royce, who was born via surrogate last week.
Speaking openly with her followers, the 42-year-old said her little girl was doing ‘amazing’ and ‘awesome’. You can see her talk about her newborn here:

In the clip, Wilson could be seen attempting to put together a baby swing before excitedly revealing: “I did it!”
Rebel showed off her handiwork, saying: “Twenty minutes later, ta da! I did it, crushing motherhood.
“And now we have a bassinet to assemble. That's my multitasking for a Saturday morning done - putting together baby furniture, whilst getting some vitamin D whilst hydrating.
“First week of motherhood done. I'm like, it's been a total life change. I'm not looking my most glamorous. I've been learning how to change diapers, how to feed the baby and I'm just so lucky I have amazing help in my awesome partner Ramona.”
Wilson went on to say: “I have an awesome baby nanny who was recommended to me by my buddy James Corden.
“Thank you all for your love for little baby Royce, she is doing amazing, she is a little tiny thing. She's amazing, and is healthy and awesome. She's a really chilled baby actually.”
Wilson announced Royce arrival on Monday (November 7) in a post on Instagram, she shared a cute snap of the adorable newborn and wrote: "Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate.
"I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle! I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making…but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care.
"Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!!
"I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly…much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club."
Wilson is currently in a relationship with Ramona Agruma, but recently the pair had to deny that they were engaged.
Following reports that the proposal took place a couple of weeks ago, Wilson explained: "Thanks for the well wishes but we are NOT engaged!"
