Rebel Wilson Announces Relationship With Her 'Disney Princess'

Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson has taken to Instagram to announce she is in a relationship with fashion designer Ramona Agruma.

Numerous fans have responded to congratulate and praise the actor after she shared a picture of herself smiling alongside Agruma today (8 June).

In a caption shared with the image, Wilson explained she had previously 'thought [she] was searching for a Disney Prince', before adding: "But maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess."

Wilson ended the caption with the emoji of a rainbow, a symbol of LGBTQ+ pride, and the hashtag 'love is love'.

A friend of Wilson told People the 42-year-old Australian actor is 'in an amazing place' in the wake of her new relationship and said they have 'never seen her happier' than she is with Agruma.

Prior to her romance with the fashion designer, Wilson is known to have dated businessman Jacob Busch, from who she split in February 2021 after four months of dating.

Last month, Wilson told People she had been set up with her new partner 'through a friend', though kept quiet at the time about who her relationship was with.

During an interview on the U Up podcast, she explained the friend had known both herself and Agruma for 'at least five years and thought [they] would hit it off', adding: "and then we did!"

Wilson has said the couple 'spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting', telling People: "That was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic.

"I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it's great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship."

The actor went on to say she has previously had negative experiences in relationships with times she was 'probably putting up' with things she shouldn't' have, saying: "So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship."

Wilson's relationship with Agruma came after she told the publication she was 'looking for the right person' and was 'hoping' to meet her match.

The announcement of her new relationship prompted many fans to say they were 'happy' for Wilson, with one Instagram user describing the pair as a 'gorgeous couple and dynamic duo'.
