Quentin Tarantino Is Expecting His Second Child At 58

Iconic film director Quentin Tarantino's wife Daniella is expecting the couple's second child.

Legendary film director Quentin Tarantino has announced that his wife Daniella Pick is pregnant with the couple's second child.

Representatives for the 58-year-old director of famous films including Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained confirmed the Tarantino family is expecting a new member.

Tarantino and wife Daniella welcomed their first child, a son named Leo, in 2020, though the director has been keen to stress that he is not named after actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who has appeared in Tarantino films Django Unchained and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

38-year-old Daniella is the daughter of Israeli singer-songwriter Svika Pick, and according to the Daily Mail, the couple first met in 2009 while Tarantino was in Israel promoting Inglourious Basterds, before getting engaged in 2017 and married a year later in Los Angeles.

Although the couple normally live at Tarantino's Beverly Hills home in California, the Metro reports they have spent the last two years in Tel Aviv, Israel, due to the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking last year about living in Tel Aviv and learning Hebrew with his son, who is actually named after Daniella's grandfather, Tarantino said: 'The idea was that we would spend like three to four months in Tel Aviv and three to four months in Los Angeles and then Covid hit.

'So three to four months became nine to 12 months. I’m actually learning a lot with Leo because he watches these like, baby TV kind of things and it’s all in Hebrew, so I’m learning with him.'

The couple will now get the experience of raising another child alongside Leo and hopefully without the pandemic looming over them, with the 58-year-old appearing to be enjoying his experiences as a father.

He said: 'If I talk about it too much, I’m already going to start crying if I talk about it too.

'I can’t even see his name written on a piece of paper without crying. It’s just, he’s my little Leo. He’s my little lion. And I just see his name, L-E-O written down isolated.

'And it just, when it comes to him, he’s just the most charming human being I’ve ever met in my life.'
