The clip has resurfaced a week after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift announced their engagement

A resurfaced clip has shown the moment Travis Kelce was asked if he would 'kiss, marry or kill' his now-fiancée Taylor Swift.

The celebrity power couple's every move is watched by millions across the globe, and the recent news that they got engaged pleased many.

Kelce has previously explained the pair met when Swift performed in his home stadium in Arrowhead, Kansas City. In the months that followed, the Chief’s Tight End had Swift's support at several of his games, including Super Bowl LVXIII, where the football player and Swift shared a kiss following the conclusion of the big game.

And last week, the pair confirmed their engagement with a series of photos, including one showing Kelce on one knee in a garden full of flowers.

Other images showed the 'Shake It Off' singer showing off a large diamond on her ring finger, as well as the couple embracing seemingly moments after Kelce popped the question.

Swift captioned the post with: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

Prior to even dating Swift, Kelce was asked asked to play a game of 'kiss, marry, kill', which included Swift, as well as fellow singers Katy Perry and Ariana Grande.

Kelce played the game in an interview on AfterBuzz TV to help promote his dating show Catching Kelce, a 2016 show that saw 50 women attempt to win the NFL star's affections.

"Damn, that's messed up. I don't want to kill any of them," Kelce admitted after hearing all the names.

While the sporting legend may have had difficulties choosing, it didn't take him long to think of an answer and it wasn't Swift he named as the person he'd 'marry'.

The 'Blank Space' singer did at least survive the game however, as Kelce revealed first he would 'kill' Ariana.

"Love you, but you're gone," he said.

"Taylor Swift would be the kiss and then - what's the last one? - Katy Perry would be the marry," he added.

Many online have reacted to the now awkward clip, with one person on social media penning 'Yikes', while another joked: "Oh boy, hope the Swifties don't see this."

Meanwhile, others stuck up for Kelce, as one person provided a theory as to why the NFL star gave such an answer.

"Because he is so excited to kiss Taylor so he even forget [sic] who the last one [was]," they wrote.

I mean, it all worked out in the end.
