Snoop Dogg has shared a subtle message of support after his daughter Cori Broadus shared the unthinkable news that she had lost her 10-month-old daughter.
In recent days, followers noticed an emotional shift in posts shared by Snoop Dogg's daughter, with messages of heartbreak appearing across Instagram. While there was no immediate explanation, it was clear something deeply personal had taken place, prompting an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities alike.
On Saturday (Jan 31), Broadus took to her Instagram Story to share devastating news that she had lost her baby daughter, 10-month-old Codi Dreaux. She wrote: “Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi.”
Codi Dreaux had endured serious health complications from the very start. Born three months prematurely in February 2025, she spent the majority of her short life in the hospital, fighting through months of treatment in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Despite the challenges, there was a moment of hope earlier this year when Cori announced that Codi had finally been discharged. Sharing her relief online at the time, she wrote: “She’s home. Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
Sadly, just weeks later, tragedy struck.

After Cori’s announcement, Snoop Dogg broke his silence in a subtle way that still said a lot.
Rather than issuing a statement, the rapper shared a family photo on his Instagram page, which included Cori, and captioned it simply with a sparkling red heart and prayer hands emojis.
The post quickly drew hundreds of thousands of likes and thousands of comments, with fans offering condolences and messages of support. Many filled the comments section with prayer emojis and heartfelt words, rallying around the family during an unimaginably painful time.
One fan wrote: "Sending love and positive energy to the whole family."
Another added: "Praying for yall my heart goes out."
Actress and comedian Luenell Campbell commented: "The Prayers from ALL of us for this Family and the Father’s family as Well are Sincere and Heartfelt."

Cori later reshared her earlier post about bringing Codi home from the hospital, adding a raw message over the top that read: “20 days later?! dawg im sick.”
Codi’s father, Cori’s fiancé Wayne Duece, also paid tribute on Instagram. He wrote: “I've been the saddest since u left me, Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you. My baby.”
Adding to the heartbreak, Cori shared a post from her daughter’s nurse, who reflected on caring for Codi during her final days. The nurse wrote: “I been sad for 6 days straight.
"Being a nurse has its ups and downs and this is the biggest down I ever experienced
"It was such a pleasure being mybabygirls nurse. I gave her one last bath told her I loved her and didn't even know I was getting her ready for Heaven.”
