Selena Gomez has taken another break from Instagram.
We love Selena, but The Only Murders In The Building Star has done what I've named as 'doing a Selena' and returned to the platform again shortly after announcing her departure.
The singer has been extremely open about her mental health over the years and, like many, takes frequent breaks from social media in a bid to protect her mental wellbeing.
Last month, 31-year-old Selena shared that she was taking a hiatus from the platform.

"I’ve been taking a break from social media because my heart breaks to see all of the horror, hate, violence and terror that’s going on in the world," she wrote.
"People being tortured and killed or any act of hate towards any group is horrific."
But the 'Love You Like a Love Song' hitmaker then posted to her Instagram Story just 24 hours later.
And yesterday (December 8), Selena said that she was taking another break from Instagram shortly after confirming her romance with record producer Benny Blanco.
"I’m leaving Insta for a while until I have work again," Selena wrote.

"I just stand up for what I believe in. I have no shame in doing that. I love my fans more than anything in the world.”
"She’ll be back by tomorrow," one person wrote on X in the wake of her news.
"Mind you her last break lasted a total of one (1) day," noted another.
And fast forward to, well, 24 hours later, and the former Disney star appears to be active on Instagram again.

Her quick reappearance on the platform comes in the wake of Ariana Grande hinting that she has new music on the way as she shared a series of snaps of her in the recording studio.
The singer hasn't released any new songs since 2021.
Her celebrity pals were quick to share their excitement - Selena included.
"FINALLY," she wrote.
"UN MUTE PLS," added Billie Eilish as Bridgerton favorite and Ariana's Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey penned: "Blow. Our. Minds."

Away from Ariana teasing new music, people have been quick to notice Selena's rather short departure from Instagram.
One person said: "10 mins passed…"
Another added: "I guess she isn't going to be taking a break from Instagram after all."

24 hours or 24 months, a break is a break (I guess).
