Police have said that Rob, 78, and Michele, 68, died in an 'apparent homicide' as the pair were allegedly found to have stab wounds.
It has since come to light that their son Nick, 32, has been arrested and is currently being held on a $4 million bond.

Per court records, Nick was booked into the LAPD Jail Division today (December 15) after being arrested yesterday evening at 9:15pm.
Limited information is shown on the records regarding what Nick is being held for but it does state that he's facing felony-level charges.
In previous years, Nick has been open about his struggles with addiction and even collaborated on the film Being Charlie with his father.
It follows the story of Charlie Mills, who is addicted to drugs, and his father forces him to go to rehab. Charlie goes on to fall in love with a girl named Eva that he meets in rehab.
Being Charlie was semi-autobiographical for Nick, who was sent to his first rehab facility at the age of 15.
"It’s not my life," he said of Being Charlie. "[But] I went to a lot of these places, so I had a lot of these stories."

During his addiction battles, Nick faced homelessness. He told PEOPLE: "I was homeless in Maine. I was homeless in New Jersey. I was homeless in Texas. I spent nights on the street. I spent weeks on the street. It was not fun."
He found himself in and out of shelters as a result of refusing to go back to rehab.
"That made me who I am now, having to deal with that stuff," Nick went on to reflect in the 2016 interview.
"I met crazy great people there, so out of my element. Now, I’ve been home for a really long time, and I’ve sort of gotten acclimated back to being in LA and being around my family. But there was a lot of dark years there."
