Rihanna has the perfect response after viral 'bad' photo of her is shared

Fenty Beauty Founder Rihanna has a hilarious response to a recent viral picture of her

When it comes to looks, Rihanna, is always serving. But a photo of her that recently went viral doesn't exactly live up to that reputation.

From Fenty Beauty to SAVAGE X Fenty, billionaire Rihanna is well known for being fashion forward. Although she started off her career as a singer as a teenager, she has since grown to build renowned brands that embrace diversity and inclusion.

Mother to three children, RZA, Riot and Rocki who she shares with her partner rapper A$AP Rocky, the Bajan beauty recently caught headlines for something you wouldn’t expect.

Popular meme Instagram account fembase with 542K followers posted a 2011 photo of Rihanna performing at V Festival.

Much to the dismay of her fans, the singer has not released new songs since 2022 when her song 'Lift Me Up' featured on the soundtrack of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

She last performed on stage at the Superbowl LVII halftime show in February 2023 where she announced her second pregnancy with her son, Riot.

Usually, we would be searching for pictures of Rihanna for fashion or beauty inspiration. But this recent photo shared on fembase Instagram account shows the singer with a bold red curly fro mid-performance as she leans back with a perplexed look on her face.

The meme account used the picture of the 37-year-old as part of the post titled: “Women don't realize how much their boyfriends love 'bad' photos of them," on Thursday, Nov. 20.

The photo at the time it was taken initially went viral as it revealed a scar on her chin, which people hadn’t noticed before. This time, however, the meme account spotlighted the photo for a slightly more humorous meaning.

The long caption of the fembase post explained: "Research and anecdotal evidence suggest that many men are drawn to candid or 'imperfect' photos of their girlfriends. These images can feel more authentic and intimate than highly polished shots."

It continued: “The appeal comes from emotional connection rather than aesthetics — seeing natural expressions or unfiltered moments often strengthens feelings of closeness and affection.

"For some couples, sharing casual or spontaneous photos can actually deepen trust and connection, highlighting the value of authenticity over perfection."

But taking it on the chin, pun intended, Rihanna 3 days after the post was shared commented: “How I catch this stray tho?" from her instagram account @badgalriri.

The 'SOS' singer’s comment caught even more traction to the already viral post with one Reddit user responding: “It kinda looks like her avatar.”

Rihanna famously changed her instagram avatar photo to a stick woman doodle of herself.

Another Reddit user wrote: “She was literally minding her own business and here they come with this sh*t lmaooooo I would hate to be famous.”

This post comes just one week after Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were caught making a fashion statement with matching leather trench coats at a dinner date.
