Pete Davidson's girlfriend shares his new look after spending $200,000 'burning off' almost 200 tattoos

The Saturday Night Live star revealed his decision to 'burn off' all but two or three of his impressive tattoo collection in January

Pete Davidson has many impressive feats - not only has he amassed a number of beautiful ex-girlfriends, but he was also once one of Hollywood's most tattooed celebs.

However, despite previously owning over 200 tats, the actor and comedian appears to have significantly reduced his body art since revealing the decision to remove most of them back in January.

A recent picture of Davidson, 32, posted by his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, has revealed his nearly bare arms, a look he has achieved by 'burning off' the collection during $200,000 worth of painstaking procedures.

The picture, posted to social media on Sunday, showed the Saturday Night Live alum gently cradling their newborn daughter, Scottie, who was swaddled in a blanket.

Captioning the sweet photo, Elsie wrote: "MY BEST FRIENDS.”

The pair, who reportedly began dating in March, welcomed their first child on December 12 and revealed the happy news on Instagram shortly after the birth.

Elsie, a 29-year-old model, also shared the full name of their daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, the first part of the moniker a sweet nod to Davidson's father, Scott, a firefighter who died during the September 11 terrorist attacks.

“My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief,” she wrote. Commenting beneath the post, Davidson wrote, 'wu tang forever.'

The picture also revealed an impressive scrubbing of Davidson's once-impressive tattoo collection.

In January, the actor said he planned to keep two or three of his tattoos.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he said: "I’ve been burning them off. They burn off a layer of your skin, then it has to heal for six to eight weeks.”

The procedure has to be done at least 12 times, and requires the recipient to avoid sunlight, he revealed on the show.

However, removal was not a decision Davidson took lightly.

"It’s pretty terrible, so if anybody out there is watching and thinking about getting a tattoo, make sure you really want to get it," he said while pulling up his sleeve to show the faded tattoos on his forearm.

"It’s pretty gone," he added.

Explaining the decision at the time, he said: "I got sober, and I saw myself in the mirror, and I was like, ‘Nah. Who that?' I was like, 'I got to change it up a little bit'."

Last July, Davidson checked into a wellness center after also seeking treatment for PTSD and borderline personality disorder in 2023.

Revealing the decision to remove his tattoos earlier this year, he said one of the few he planned to keep was a Hilary Clinton tattoo on his right leg, inked in 2016 after she lost the presidential election.

Hearing the news, the politician actually reached out to check he wasn't planning to reveal the tribute.

“What was cute is when I got them removed, she hit me up, and she’s like, ‘You’re not removing me, are you?’” he recalled during his appearance on The Breakfast Club.

“I was like, 'Of course not, of course. Hillary stays'. She loves it."
