Out of his numerous tattoos, there's one that Pete Davidson has decided to keep around.
Davidson has spoken in the past about wanting to have some of his tattoos removed, revealing during an interview with Seth Meyers on Late Night with Seth Meyers in May 2021, that he had already begun the process, which cost $200,000.
Speaking of the treatment process, the comedian said: "It takes, like, three hours — you have to get there, like, three hours earlier — to cover all your tattoos. For some reason, people in movies, they don’t have them that much."
Earlier this year, Davidson unveiled a new look after 'burning off' almost 200 of his tattoos.

His idea to essentially cleanse his body of ink came after he was forced to show up three hours early to a movie set just so make-up artists could get to work.
But while he may be parting ways with many of his tattoos, there is one particular ink he has no plans of getting rid of.

And it's a nod to former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with Davidson getting the tattoo after the Democrat missed out on the presidency to Donald Trump in 2016.

He later posted a picture of his ink to his Instagram in 2017, where he wrote: "Wanted to get @hillaryclinton a Christmas gift, so I got a tattoo of my hero.
"Thanks for being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe."
And Clinton herself replied to his homage, saying: "Thanks, @petedavidson, This makes it significantly less awkward that I’ve had a Pete Davidson tattoo for years. But seriously, I’m honored. Merry Christmas, my friend."
As for why he was keeping it, Davidson explained on The Breakfast Club: "I got Hillary after she lost, because I, one — I know her personally and she’s a lovely lady — but also just, like, she’s tough, man.

"She was really at the forefront of some bulls***, and as someone who has been at the forefront of some bulls***, I was just, like, I just wanted to cheer her up a little bit."
The 31-year-old also revealed how Clinton actually contacted him when news came to light that he was ditching the tattoos to see if he was having the one that pays homage to her removed.
"What was cute is when I got them removed, she hit me up and she’s like, ‘You’re not removing me, are you?’” Davidson recalled. "I was like, ‘Of course not, of course. Hillary stays.' She loves it."

In an interview with Variety in April, Davidson revealed that his tattoos on his arms, hands, and neck were 'gone', but he still had to do his back and torso.

He also further explained his decision to remove them, saying they remind him of when he was a 'sad person', adding: "I used to be a drug addict and I was a sad person, and I felt ugly and that I needed to be covered up.
"And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with tattoos, but mine, when I look at them, I remember a sad person that was very unsure.

"So I’m just removing them and starting fresh, because that’s what I think works best for me and for my brain."
