Nicole Kidman has officially filed for divorce from Keith Urban and has made a huge request in the process.
On Tuesday (September 30), TMZ reported that the couple - who tied the knot in 2006 - have been separated 'since the beginning of summer'.
One of the publication's anonymous sources claimed that Kidman, 58, is 'holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone' - the BBC confirmed the source's remarks.
It was also reported that Urban, 57, 'has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home' following the separation.

Now, according to court documents seen by People, Kidman has asked to become the primary residential parent of their two daughters, 17-year-old Sunday Rose and 14-year-old Faith Margaret.
The deal, which Urban has reportedly agreed to, will mean that Kidman spends 306 days with their daughters, while Urban will take care of them for 59 days of the year.
The former couple reportedly have a childhood support agreement in place, with Urban having 'already prepaid all child support obligations'.
On top of that, according to the filing, Kidman and Urban have agreed not to speak badly of each other or other members of their family of the other parent to the press and they will 'encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families'.
People reports both Kidman and Urban are required to attend a parenting seminar within 60 days of divorce proceedings being filed.
The outlet also states Kidman signed the documents on September 6, while Urban signed a week earlier on August 29.
UNILAD has reached out to Kidman and Urban's representatives for comment.
While it remains unclear the circumstances behind the couple's breakup, back in July the 'You'll Think of Me' hitmaker reportedly hung up while appearing as a guest on Mix 102.3 - an Aussie radio station - with Hayley Pearson and Max Burford on their morning show.
Burford went on to ask for the radio segment: "What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV and radio?"
Urban's end of the line then went silent in an abrupt end to the conversation.
"I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question," one of the radio producers claimed.
However, in a statement to People, a source later said: "Keith did not hang up, period… He doesn't host his Zoom interviews. This is a complete nothingburger."
