Nick Reiner's attorney has given an update on his well-being following his arrest.
Nick was arrested on Sunday evening (December 14) and booked into jail the following day on suspicion of murder after his parents, acclaimed Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife of 36 years, Michele Reiner, were found dead in their home.
In a press conference yesterday, LAPD Chief of Police Jim McDonnell said: "December 14, at about 3:40 in the afternoon, LAPD responded to the residence of Rob and Michele Reiner located in the West Los Angeles division.
"At that location, they found two deceased adults, a male and a female. Through the night, working with the coroner's office, they were able to identify them definitively as Rob and Michele Reiner."

Initially, Nick was being held on a $4,000,000 bond, but this has since changed, per his jail records, and the 32-year-old's now being held without bail.

Nick is yet to be officially charged for any crimes and will soon be due in court. His lawyer, Alan Jackson, has since revealed that Nick has not yet been medically cleared to be transported to the courthouse.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) enlists a county physician to perform medical evaluations on inmates to ensure they receive the care services they need.
Jackson called the matter 'a procedural issue', NBC Los Angeles reports, but expressed his hopes that Nick will be cleared in time for his court appearances later this week.
With this in mind, Jackson has confirmed that there won't be a hearing in relation to the case today (December 17), CNN shared.

LA prosecutors are believed to have put together charging documents for Nick, but as of Tuesday morning, they have yet to announce any charges. It's thought that the announcement will be made soon, however, as the case is being handed over to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
While charges are yet to be announced, the LAPD has already branded Nick as 'responsible' for his parents' deaths.
"As a result of the initial investigation, it was determined that the Reiners were the victims of homicide," part of the statement shared on Twitter read.
"The investigation further revealed that Nick Reiner, the 32-year-old son of Robert and Michele Reiner, was responsible for their deaths."
