
The Portland Trailblazer coach Chauncy Billups and Miami Heat player Terry Rozier have been arrested by the FBI for an alleged role in a criminal gambling operation.
Law enforcement sources have confirmed to ABC News that the pair were arrested today (23 October) by the FBI.
Billups has been charged in an illegal poker operation that has ties to the mafia, according to the sources. He was arrested in Oregon and is expected to make an initial court appearance on Thursday.
He was last seen publicly at the Moda Center in Oregon as the Portland Trailblazers were playing their first game of the regular season versus the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Rozier and former Cleveland Cavaliers player and assistant coach Damon Jones have also been charged in a separate but related illegal gambling case.

They are among six people charged today and are accused of using insider information in professional basketball to place unlawful wagers, according to the source.
FBI Director Kash Patel is expected to give more details about the arrests and the charges in a press conference set to be held later today in New York City.
