MrBeast has responded to claims he's sold his YouTube channel to Disney for a whopping $5 billion.

Disney is certainly not afraid to splash the cash to expand its portfolio, such as spending $4 billion to buy-out Marvel - a move that has paid off big time with the MCU now being the top-grossing film franchise in history.

And a recent rumor suggested that Disney had spent a whopping $5 billion to purchase MrBeast's YouTube channel.

The YouTuber, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is a real juggernaut on the popular video platform with a staggering 242 million subscribers.

And viewers of his channel will know Donaldson embarks on wild challenges for his videos - something that can sometimes land him in a spot of bother.

Despite that, you can maybe see why Disney would be interested in signing up MrBeast considering his massive fanbase.

And this speculation was heightened recently during a recent episode of The Iced Coffee Hour podcast hosted by Graham Stephan and Jack Selby.

Speculation suggested MrBeast had sold his YouTube channel.

The hosts told their guests, Sam and Colby, that MrBeast sold his YouTube channel to Disney for the sum of $5 billion.

A clip of the conversation from the podcast has gone viral on social media, but it crucially misses out the part when the podcasts hosts admitted they were joking.

The short clip has been doing the rounds on X, formerly known as Twitter, leading to many believing MrBeast has sold his channel.

That is certainly not the case though, with the YouTube star himself having to publicly shut down the claims.

"Disney does not own any part of my channel," MrBeast responded to the viral video.

MrBeast has denied the claims.

In another post MrBeast has called out the 'wild' conspiracy theories surrounding his name after he came under fire for a now-deleted tweet criticizing US politician Nancy Pelosi.

Many claimed the YouTuber deleted the tweet after noticing Pelosi's nephew is a talent manager of the agency that represents him.

"First I sold my channel to Disney and now Pelosi has control over me? The conspiracies are wild recently," he responded on X to all the recent speculation.

The YouTuber is no stranger to controversy.

He continued: “No idea who this dude is/no agency tells me what I can or can’t say.

"For the record, I don’t think she/others should be able to trade stock while knowing classified information. It’s not even that crazy of an opinion lol.”

As for the Disney money - MrBeast announced recently revealed how he brings in about $600 million to $700 million a year - so he's doing just fine!
