Brandi Cyrus has come out in support of her mom
One of Miley Cyrus' sisters has praised their mother amid rumored family drama.
Brandi Cyrus called her mom, Tish, 'unapologetic' and commended how supportive she had been, labelling her the 'backbone' of the family.
This comes after reports emerged claiming the youngest Cyrus sister, Noah, 24, had a 'relationship' Dominic Purcell before he and Tish got married.

Back in February a source spoke exclusively to US Weekly, alleging that Noah was seeing Dominic 'when Tish started pursuing him'.
The insider also claimed that Tish, 56, had been 'aware' of the connection between the 54-year-old actor and her daughter.
They even claimed that Noah was left feeling 'very distraught' about Tish 'stealing' Dominic.
UNILAD approached Noah, Tish, Dominic and Miley's representatives at the time the reports emerged. None responded, however, Dominic uploaded an Instagram post seemingly alluding to the allegations, which read: "You don’t sign up for nonsense it just follows you. I sit quietly and observe without response nor interest."
But now Tish's eldest daughter, Brandi, has come out in support of mom, calling her 'unapologetic' in an interview with E! News.
While attending the 2024 CMT Music Awards on Sunday (April 7), she told the outlet: "My mom is in this era of really being unapologetic about who she is and what she’s about."
The 36-year-old added: “And I love that for her. She has been so supportive of all of us. She’s really the backbone of this family.”
"She co-manages Miley [Cyrus] and Noah [Cyrus], and for her to be in the limelight a little bit and for people to see the star that is Tish Cyrus makes me happy," Brandi noted.
Although the 36-year-old did not address the alleged drama, she went on to talk about the importance of keeping family close.
Brandi said: “At the end of the day, your family’s what you have and your family is what matters, and those relationships are more important than anything to us.”
Tish and Dominic got engaged in April 2023 and tied the knot in August that year.
A few months before the wedding, a source told Us Weekly: "Things couldn’t be going better for Tish and Dominic."
While some of Tish's children attended her big day, not all of them were present.
Noah and her brother Braison, 29, both gave the nuptials, which were held in Malibu, a miss.
Speaking to Us Weekly in in August 2023, an insider said: "Tish will always love her kids no matter what."
They added: “She understands divorce might be challenging especially when she and Billy Ray had been together for so long.”
In an episode of the podcast Sorry We're Stoned, Tish admitted that there were 'definitely issues' in her marriage, with a source telling Us Weekly that they're 'working on communication'.
