Mike Tyson caused concern after suddenly taking ill during a flight from Miami.

Iron Mike Tyson has the reputation of being tough as nails but caused a stir on an airplane that was flying from Miami to LA on Sunday.

The 57-year-old former boxing heavyweight champion reportedly became nauseous and dizzy during the flight forcing staff members to take action.

Airline staff asked passengers if there was a doctor on board who could provide assistance as they tried to deal with the situation.

When the flight touched down in Los Angeles, paramedics boarded the plane to administer treatment to Tyson.

His representatives have insisted that the boxer is now feeling fine as this health scare comes only two months before his boxing bout with YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul.

“Thankfully Mr. Tyson is doing great,” Tyson’s representatives told the New York Post.

“He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”

Ulcer flare up symptoms include feeling nauseous, vomiting, bloating, belching and gas pain as well as chest pain and fatigue.

A witness who was reportedly at the scene, according to a Mail Online report, explained how staff reacted to the emergency.

“He was in first class, but we were an exit row.

“They asked us to stay on the plane and landed so paramedics could enter. [The stewardess] said something like, 'He's a really important passenger so we wanna make sure he's OK.' I knew it was him, but I just mouthed the words 'Mike Tyson' and she nodded her head yes.”

Another source said a message asking whether there was a doctor aboard came to the passengers via everyone's airplane seat screens.

“Mike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded,” the source told the New York Post.

“Before the paramedics arrived the flight issued an announcement asking for a doctor — the message even came on everyone’s screens.“

Mike Tyson has not yet commented this emergency on his social media feeds.

Ahead of the fight with Paul, Tyson has regularly stunned his fans with his intense boxing exercises and workout routines despite his age. He has also insisted he is in great shape and more than prepared to fight with Paul in July.
