At one point or another, most people have been told they look like a celebrity.
Depending on which famous face you're likened to, this can be a source of great confidence.
However, having a celebrity doppelganger can get you perks that you never would have expected.

One man's resemblance is quite easy to figure out, given the similarity in name.
John Legendary has been likened to the singer John Legend, but it's safe to say that the two have chosen different paths in life.
While Legend entertains people with his music, Legendary opts to entertain others as an adult film star.
But even before he transitioned from aerospace engineer to porn star in 2021, he'd been catching comparisons to the All Of Me singer.

In fact, one date put him to the test - and revealed he doesn't share his lookalike's vocal talents.
Legendary recalled: "I remember one time I was in Medellin Colombia for Thanksgiving.
"I took a solo trip, this was probably one of my first international solo trips.

"And I was using the dating apps to meet a girl. Met this girl, took her out to dinner. And I get a sense of so much emotion, of being overwhelmed, on her end.
"She was so happy because she really thought I was John Legend. This is years ago, this is before porn and everything. And I thought she was just joking, but then talking about I was in her dreams, she prayed for this."
Things got even stranger once they went back to his villa.
"She wanted a concert. I can't sing, okay, at all. But I gave her a good performance, a good concert," he recalled.

"I was singing the John Legend songs. And that's one story that has always stuck with me with the name John Legendary."
Legendary revealed that when he first became a porn star, finding his alias was a tad tricky,
He found out that his preferred porn name had already been taken by an actor working in gay porn.
When his agent noted his resemblance to the singer, Legendary decided to take it and run with it.

He's not the first person to embrace being a look alike.
One Thai man essentially dedicated his life to looking like Vin Diesel.
After shaving his head, Arthit Duangsri dedicated himself to obtaining the star's enviable physique, which took 'years of sweat and tears'.

Whichever celebrity resemblance doesn't require me to shave my head and become a total gym rat, I'm happy to accept.
