JoJo Siwa has issued an update on her relationship with boyfriend Chris Hughes, admitting the pair continue to ‘pester each other’ about having children.
22-year-old Siwa - whose real name is Joelle Joanie - and former Love Island UK star Hughes, 32, initially struck up a ‘platonic’ friendship on this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, before later confirming they were an item.
“It's not platonic any more, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way,” the Dance Moms star explained to The Guardian in June.
Since then, the pair have met each other’s parents, while Siwa has adopted her boyfriend’s Premier League football team, Sunderland, having been pictured performing in the squad’s famous red and white striped shirt.

In a new interview, the ‘Karma’ singer has opened up about whether she and Hughes will be expecting children in the near future.
Speaking to Heart’s No Filter YouTube channel, Siwa admitted that the pair are on the same page.
“I pester him about it, we pester each other about it,” she said. “The thing about Christopher and I is how we met, it accelerates your relationship like no other, right?
“Just on a friendship dynamic and then all of a sudden we realised, clearly we like each other more than friends here, a lot more than friends.”
She explained: “I think we have a beautiful future ahead and I think it’s very fast and it’s very quick, but it feels so right. I can’t explain it, but we have very fun, fun, fun things ahead of us that I’m looking forward to.”
In a new interview with The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, the reality TV star has spoken about what her and her partner’s wedding could look like in the future.
“A wedding is a two-person thing,” she explained. “So we would have to decide what it looks like. But I do know that I want it to have a baby-blue colour scheme and I need to help Chris make the playlist...
“At the end of the day, we have a very public life, but we are still two humans who love each other very much. So as much as we love to share stuff, we always like to keep some stuff to ourselves, too,” Siwa added.
The American hitmaker is set to tour the UK and Ireland later this year, touching down in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Birmingham.
Siwa was due to play a slew of US gigs, but announced their postponement in June.
“I've got some news that breaks my heart to share... my US tour has to be postponed,” she wrote via her website.
“I promise I'll be back before you know it to perform for all the beautiful people in the US!... Announcements will be coming soon, including some Europe shows!:).
"Thank you so much for your understanding and support. I can't wait to see you all soon!”
Siwa has not toured the US since the conclusion of her debut D.R.E.A.M tour, which took place from May 17, 2019, to March 12, 2022.
It was in support of the star’s two debut EPs: D.R.E.A.M. The Music (2018) and 2019’s Celebrate.
