Jennifer Lopez has spoken out once more on her split with Ben Affleck as she reflected on the 'tough' period of her life.
The 56-year-old singer and actor filed for divorce in August last year, and since then, she's made a number of admissions about her split from her two-time Oscar-winning ex, with this latest coming from an interview with CBS Sunday Morning that aired yesterday (September 28).
J-Lo had appeared on the show to promote her new film Kiss of the Spider Woman - an adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name, a production which she's had to work closely with her former 53-year-old lover.

During the 35-minute sit-down with CBS' Lee Cowan, she was asked how she managed to juggle everything going on in her personal life and her latest movie.
"Barely! It was tough, it was a tough time - it was a really tough time," she conceded.
The host then asked about Affleck having served as producer for the film, which is earmarked for release in theaters on October 10.
J-Lo then noted: "The movie wouldn't have been made if it wasn't for him and Artist Equity - and I will always give him that credit."
She then lavished more praise on her ex for allowing her to play 'the role I was born to play'.

The 'Let's Get Loud' hitmaker was then asked by Cowan if she found refuge in playing the part during a tumultuous time in her life.
"Yes 100 percent," J-Lo replied.
"It was hard not to think about stuff, but it was like the best and the worst of times in a way, because it was every moment on set and every moment I was doing this role.
"I was so happy and then it was like back home it was not great and it was just like, oh, you know, how do I reconcile this? But you get through it."

Before making a savage admission: "And you know, honestly, I have to say it was the best thing that ever happened to me because it changed me... it didn't change me - it helped me grow in a way that I needed to grow, become more self-aware.
"I'm a different person now than I was last year, I think, a year-and-a-half ago."
Lopez and Affleck’s rollercoaster love story dates all the way back to 2002, when they became Hollywood’s 'it’ couple and dubbed 'Bennifer'.

After getting engaged, the pair called it quits in 2004 before rekindling their romance in 2021, almost two decades later. They tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2022, followed by a second ceremony in Georgia.
It didn't last long as Lopez officially filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary, court papers revealed they had already split a year earlier, in April 2023.
