Jennifer Lopez has opened up about love and relationships in a new interview a year after she filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.
Not only has she been in the spotlight for her music and acting roles, but JLo has frequently found herself at the center of attention thanks to her romances with other famous faces.
Obviously her lengthy love story with Affleck is one of the best known, but over the years Lopez has also shared her life with producer and Millionaire Matchmaker star Ojani Noa, controversial rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs and former Yankee Alex Rodriguez.

In a new interview with Howard Stern, Lopez was asked about her relationships and admitted it was 'difficult' to be in love while under a 'microscope'.

Stern asked the star whether it felt like everything was 'doomed from the beginning' when she found herself in a new romance, to which Lopez responded: "No, no I don't feel that...
"I wanted to share my life with someone, I want someone to be there when I'm having my big, important moments on the red carpet, I want someone to be there when... we're going to the store, whatever it is."

While Lopez said she previously wanted to 'share' all of those moments with the public, she admitted she's changed her mind in recent years and now wants to keep things 'more quiet'.
"The truth is when you're in this type of career and you have the type of level of fame that we're talking about, there is a compromise," she continued.
The host then went on to get straight into the nitty-gritty, asking Lopez: "Do you think you've truly been loved?"
"No," Lopez responded. However, she believes she 'really has experienced loving someone'.
"What I learned, it's not that I'm not loveable, it's that they're not capable... they don't have it in them," Lopez claimed.

"They need to appreciate the little person inside of them... and they gave me what they had, they gave me all of it, every time," the singer said, before agreeing with Stern's claim that despite all of that, they didn't truly love her - and she 'didn't love' herself.
While Lopez doesn't appear to be publicly dating anyone at the moment, she told Stern she doesn't plan to use the exclusive dating app Raya to help find her next love.
"I don't want that," she said, adding: "I don't know. I'm just old-fashioned, I guess."
