Insecure star Yvonne Orji reveals she's is still a virgin at age 39
The actor joked she has 'a lot of pent-up energy' stored
Insecure star Yvonne Orji has opened up about why she's chosen to remain a virgin.
The actor is best known for playing the character of Molly Carter in the HBO comedy-drama Insecure - for which she was nominated for several awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award.
However, if there's one thing Orji certainly isn't insecure about, it's being a virgin, with the star confirming she hasn't had sex with anyone at the age of 39 - not that it's really anyone's business but hers.

Orji revealed she's still a virgin at the age of 39 years old while on Chelsea Handler's podcast Dear Chelsea.
A clip of the interview uploaded to Handler's Instagram shows the host joking the 'dam is going to break' when the actor has sex for the first time.
Orji replies: "Baby, let me tell you right now. People are like, 'Oh, you know, Yvonne, pray for him. Whoever he is'.
"Because there's a lot of pent up energy up in here with me."
Handler then says: "You're going to hit your sexual peak when you start having sex, so yeah, you're going to need a couple of men probably."
Orji jests she'll go from 'being a virgin' to 'polyamory'.
However, that's probably not the case given the actor's reasons for abstaining from sex in the first place.
In an interview in 2017, Orji explained the real reason she's refrained from sex for all these years.
Orji told People she didn't want to 'hide' her status as a virgin 'just because [she's] on TV', and said she's 'grounded in' who she is.
She continued: "Before any of [the fame] happened, I sat down with myself and with God and thought, ‘When I make it, how do you want me to represent you while I’m here?’
"It was like, ‘OK, I know why I’m here. It’s to make you proud."
Orji subsequently resolved she wouldn't have sex before marriage.
Fans of Orji have flooded to social media in support of her decision and her speaking out about it.
One X - formerly known as Twitter - user said: "She’s so me-coded, finally some representation."
Another added: "No big deal. And besides. Who carez."
A third commented: "You know what that’s good for her."
And a final resolved: "If she's happy with it that's no one business."
Amen to that.
