Harvey Weinstein responds after Adrien Brody references his children in Oscars speech

Harvey Weinstein has responded after Adrian Brody referenced his children during his speech at the 2025 Oscars.
The 97th Academy Awards, held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, saw a ton of Oscars up for grabs; which included Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director and Best Supporting actor.
As is the case every year, this year's Oscars was full of drama, including host Conan O'Brien making a defiant dig at Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin and the host making a risqué joke about Drake and Kendrick Lamar's ongoing beef.
Brody also made headlines at the Oscars after accepting the award for Best Actor at the event.

The Brutalist star praised his girlfriend Georgina Chapman during his speech, with Chapman having had two children during her marriage to Weinstein.
Brody said in his speech: "Dash and India [Weinstein's children], I know it's been a roller coaster, but thank you for accepting me into your life."
Speaking about his partner, the actor added: "I share this with my amazing partner Georgina, who has not only reinvigorated my own self-worth, but my sense of value and my values."
Juda Engelmayer, a representative for Weinstein, has issued a response to his children being mentioned at the Oscars.
The rep told Us Weekly: "Harvey is happy for Georgina and grateful that his kids are being loved and cared for as they deserve to be."
Getting married in 2007, Chapman and disgraced Hollywood mogul Weinstein, had India, 14, and son Dashiell, 11, during their time together.
It was Chapman who filed for divorce in 2017 after Weinstein was accused of sexual assault.
Weinstein is currently serving 16 years behind bars for two counts of sexual assault and one count of rape, while a 2020 rape conviction was overturned by New York’s highest court last April.
Elsewhere in Brody's speech, he spoke about his impressive career to date.
"The one thing that I've gained having the privilege to come back here is to have some perspective," he said.
"And no matter where you are in your career, no matter what you accomplished, it can all go away."
The actor added: "It is a chance to begin again and the opportunity to hopefully be fortunate enough that the next 20 years of my life, I can prove that I am worthy of such meaningful and important and relevant roles."
