Gwyneth Paltrow says she plans to quit Hollywood after she sells her wellness and lifestyle company.

The Oscar-winning actor recently sat down with Bustle to talk about skincare, fashion and, of course, all things Goop.

When asked when she plans on selling her multi-million dollar company, Paltrow responded: “I have no idea. We’re not ready to sell yet. I need a few more years.”

“I will literally disappear from public life. No one will ever see me again,” she added.

I personally see the star settling into a luxurious mansion in the south of France, indulging in manuka honey facials and peptide serums.

The 51 year old added that she doesn’t particularly enjoy her celebrity status, adding she gets fulfilment from ‘creating, collaborating and being struck with new ideas’.

Paltrow also revealed that she’s not motivated by money - even though Goop is estimated to be worth around $250 million.

“I could never get attracted to the really rich guy... And I don’t make choices to build value in the wrong way. I’ve always done independent films. I don’t know. Money has never been my thing. It’s never been my driver,” she told the publication.

Elsewhere in the interview, the ‘Shakespeare in Love’ star also touched on the term nepo baby.

Nepo baby, or nepotism, refers to children of celebrities who follow a similar career path to their parents and achieve success.

However, Paltrow believes ‘nepo babies’ simply get a bad wrap, adding her daughter wants nothing to do with the industry.

While her daughter, Apple, is a 'private person' and doesn’t wish to follow in her parents' footsteps, the actor said even if she did, there’s nothing wrong with that.

"Nobody rips on a kid who’s like ‘I want to be a doctor like my dad and granddad,’. The truth is if you grow up in a house with a lot of artists and people making art and music, that’s what you know, the same way that if you grow up in a house with law, the discussions around the table are about the nuances of whatever particular law the parents practice,” she said.

Paltrow added it’s an ‘ugly moniker’.

“I just hope that my children always feel free to pursue exactly what they want to do, irrespective of what anybody’s going to think or say,” she continued.
