Elle Fanning has the perfect reaction to Jack Black shoutout after labelling him 'sex on legs'

Elle Fanning had the perfect reaction after seeing a message that Jack Black sent her after she called him 'sex on legs'.

Fanning had previously spoken about the Tenacious D star, known for his rambunctious comedic and musical performances, revealing that he was one of her biggest crushes.

Black might not be generally thought of in the same sense as stars like George Clooney or Chris Hemsworth, but that didn't stop Fanning from calling him 'the hottest man I’ve ever seen in my life hot. Like sex on legs.'

And you know what, with the boundless energy, humor and rocking self-confidence that Black is known for, not to mention being a highly talented singer and guitarist, maybe that's not as surprising as we might think.

Though, there is still the age gap, with Fanning being 27 and Black aged 56.

Access Hollywood spoke with the School of Rock star, telling him that about the surprise crush, before showing Fanning his response.

"Congratulations on your awards," Black told Access Hollywood. "You make me very embarrassed with all this hall pass talk."

Closing his eyes, he continued: "Look, I'm very flattered, but I have to keep my eye closed because I am so embarrassed."

Jokingly keeping his eyes closed, he then blew her a kiss and said: "Much love to you and yours. Hi to your boyfriend as well, dude, I didn't do anything."

Reporters then showed a delighted Fanning Black's response.

Watching the clip, she said: "I love that! I was worried that he was gonna have like a restraining order against me or something, like sorry to your wife!

"No, I just love Jack Black, he's the best, and I mean case in point."

Fanning's elder sister and fellow actress Dakota Fanning, 31, had previously taken the opportunity to rib her sister over her crush on Black during their appearance in Vanity Fair’s Lie Detection Test series.

"You once called him 'the perfect man'," the elder Fanning teased her sister, adding: "Would you leave your boyfriend if Jack Black declared his love for you?"

Laughing, her sister replied: "Gus doesn't care."

She then went on to describe how when her boyfriend had met Black at the Golden Globes in 2024, he had told him: 'You're her hall pass, by the way'."

Black had previously joked: “She looks at me - which objectively is a goblin gremlin - and she sees this gorgeous creature.”
