Fans think Drake is dissing Rihanna on his new song with 'bitter' verse

The rapper included a verse in his new album which some have taken to be about Rihanna

Drake fans are convinced that the musician is having a go at Rihanna in a track from his new album.

The music industry is widely known for its many infamous clashes over the years.

Lennon and McCartney is a classic, with the added factor of a tumultuous but brilliant creative partnership.

Then there's the between different groups, like the rivalry between Oasis and Blur.

And who could forget the clash of two hip-hop titans, Eminem and Snoop Dogg - although they have now buried their beef.

Now, it appears that Drake and Rihanna could be added to that list after fans became suspicious that the rapper was having a go at Rihanna in his latest track 'Fear of Heights' from his newest album FOR ALL THE DOGS.

It wouldn't be the first time that Drake has been in a feud with someone who had been close to Rihanna.

The musician had previously come to a head with Chris Brown - who is Rihanna's ex-boyfriend, telling Rap Radar in 2019 that there had been 'resentment on both sides' which was 'over girl stuff'.

It's fair to say that Drake has apparently had a complicated relationship with Rihanna over the years as well.

The pair started out as friends before their relationship reportedly became romantic - however, the singer told Vanity Fair in 2015 that her last 'official' boyfriend was Brown.

But things apparently soured by 2018, with Rihanna saying in an interview: "We don't have a friendship now, but we're not enemies either."

Now. some fans are wondering whether a track on Drake's latest album could be a dig at the 'Umbrella' singer.

The lyrics say: "Ayy, ayy, look. Why they make it sound like I'm still hung up on

you? That could never be, Gyal can't ruin me, Better him than me, Better it's not me."

It even goes on to say: "Yeah, and the sex was average with you", and "And I had way badder b**ches than you, TBH".

He also says: "I’m anti, I’m anti," which some also believe to be a reference to her 2016 album of the same name.

And people had a lot of thoughts about the alleged diss.

One person wondered if Rihanna was also thinking about Drake, writing: "The funny thing is Rihanna gave him his first career #1 single, she put HIM on, you think she’s thinking about him when she’s worth almost $2B??"

Another wrote: "He been moving too weird for me lately. I really hope that’s not about Rih."

A third was not convinced, posting: "I don't think he is but what do I know."

Someone else said that he needs to 'move on' while another said: "he’s so bitter like it’s been years…"
