People are praising Denzel Washington for the way he responded to a struggling actress.

I know we don't need another reason to love the Gladiator II star, but this now-viral video sure gives us one.

In the clip doing the rounds online, a woman in Manhattan, New York, approaches Washington as he's seen entering the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.

She goes on to ask him if he has any advice for 'actors that are fighting out here to get work'.

Filming their interaction, Washington replies: "Come inside here."

He then urges her to put the phone down and the video ends before cutting to another moment between the pair when someone was filming them, seemingly with Washington's permission this time.

Putting his arm around the tearful woman and looking at the camera, he says: "Why you crying, girl? I'm regular people just like you."

He then goes on to give her a warm embrace. Cute!

In light of the heartwarming moment going viral online, people have weighed in and applauded Washington for giving up some of his time for the woman who approached him.

"My HEART is FULL," said one person on TikTok — one of the many places the video has been reposted to.

"That’s why I love that man his character is everything," said someone else.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, another person said of the video: "Denzel seems like an all around good man. Legendary actor."

A different person added: "Denzel, always got an encouraging word! My fav actor."

"Denzel Washington is such a class act. I really admire the man," gushed another.

Others dubbed him a 'saint', 'legend' and the 'GOAT'.

And this isn't the first time Washington has taken the time out to give people advice.

London-based content creator Chewkz managed to chat to the two-time Oscar winning actor at what appeared to be the UK premiere of Gladiator II.

Explaining that he was a content creator, Washington told him: "You can't learn to be an actor online. You've got to get on the stage.

"Find a little theatre. Anything. [Even] if you're just a guy holding a spear at the back of the thing. You got to get on stage."

"That's where I started," Washington went on. "If you want what I got, do what I did."

As he ended the conversation, the actor said: "I'll see you at work."

I'm not sure about you, but if the Denzel Washington said that to me, I think my soul would have left my body.
