Fans of Dax Shepard are rushing to his defense after Cher took a 'rude' swipe at the actor.
The iconic singer was welcomed onto Kristen Bell's husband's podcast, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, but while inside the 51-year-old's home she took a number of digs at him - leaving viewers 'wildly uncomfortable'.
In the episode that aired yesterday (January 5), Shepard, Bell and co-host Monica Padman were talking with the 79-year-old about trauma when the singer took a bizarre jab at the Idiocracy actor.
After opening up about the battles he had been through, Shepard finished with: "Couldn't be more grateful, ultimately I'm in this house with this woman and these two kids - f***ing, I wouldn't change a thing."

That's when Cher took her first dig at the host.
"You're lucky, she's definitely the better half," she said about Bell - who shares two kids with Shepard after tying the knot 12 years ago.
After letting the comment slip by at first, Shepard circled back to it and stated how Cher is 'just not sold yet on me'.

That's when the 'Believe' songstress took another swipe: "No, but the truth is I trust her [Bell]. So, you must have something that I don't see."
After the clip was uploaded to Instagram, fans of the show came to Shepard's defense.
"I guess by reading his responses, Dax wasn’t offended. But when I was listening to this, I was uncomfortable. It’s rude and also just way off the mark. I’m glad he didn’t take it to heart and finds it humorous," one fan blasted the 'I Got You Babe' hitmaker.
Another commented: "As a fan of everyone in this clip, this makes me wildly uncomfortable."
While a third passionately penned: "He isn’t biting [baiting] her. She brought it up. He should’ve told her to go F herself after how rude she was.
"Who goes on somebody’s podcast and tells his wife that she could do better than him. So asking who exactly she thinks that Kristen belongs with is a very valid question to a super rude response."
The comment left Bell shocked in the moment with her hand over her mouth as everyone laughed it off - but it clearly shocked their viewers too.
With another adding: "I guess I respect her honesty? But damn, that’s a wildly rude thing to say."
