As Dax Shepard welcomed Cher into his home, the pop star took an awkward swipe at his and Kristen Bell's marriage.
The 79-year-old didn't hold back in telling the 51-year-old exactly what she thought about him - which apparently is not that much, as she appeared as a guest on his podcast, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard.
During the episode, which aired yesterday (January 5), the 'Believe' songstress built a good rapport with 45-year-old Bell - so much so that Cher admitted that she couldn't see what Bell sees in Shepard, despite the pair having been married for 12 years and sharing two kids.
While talking about the Californian singer's new book, Cher: The Memoir, Part 1, they dove into the way in which she dealt with trauma she's faced in her life.

Hailing Cher, Shepard said: "There's a pressure on people to have dealt with their own trauma in a very accepted way - and I like when people don't deal with their trauma that way, like mine was active like yours was. There was violence, there was addiction.
"Couldn't be more grateful, ultimately I'm in this house with this woman and these two kids - f***ing, I wouldn't change a thing."
That's when Cher took her first dig at the host.
"You're lucky, she's definitely the better half," she said about Bell.
The conversation around trauma continued and upon its conclusion Shepard, who was seemingly insulted by the remark, didn't want to brush past her comment.
Raising the issue in a lighthearted way, Shepard asked: "Who would you like to see Kristen with? If you got to pick from every available bachelor - oh, they don't even have to be available, they can be some taken ones if you want. Who would be your dream partner for her? Because I know you think she could do better, and I don't disagree. Who would be your pick?"
When Cher replied that she didn't know, the Idiocracy actor added: "Brad Pitt, maybe?"
Despite the debate coming an hour into the podcast, Shepard noted how Cher is 'just not sold yet on me'.
That's when the singer laid it bluntly.
"No, but the truth is I trust her," Cher said. "So, you must have something that I don't see."
The comment left Bell shocked with her hand over her mouth as everyone laughed it off.
That's when co-host Monica Padman interjected: "But Reese Witherspoon said that, too - She said there's something about women like a smart, strong, awesome, funny woman. If they're with a man, you're like, there must be something to that man!"
Bell added: "There is! There's a lot to this man."
Shepard, I'm sorry Cher can't see your worth, but we can!
