Fans of Chris Brown taking part in his meet and greets have been mocked online, with many branding them as 'sad'.

Getting the opportunity to meet one of your favorite celebs is often sought after by fans the world over.

Meet and greet events often give fans the opportunity to speak to their idols directly, take a selfie and praise them for their work - or if you're feeling brazen, criticize them for it.

However, on social media people have been questioning whether some fans might have gotten the worse deal when it comes to meeting singer Chris Brown.

It's normal for fans to ask for a selfie when meeting the rich and famous, but when it comes to the meet and greets of Brown’s 11:11 Tour, fans’ pictures have been considerably racy and on top of them, there is a hefty catch.

If you're looking for a VIP meet-and-greet with the singer, be prepared to part with a cool $1,111, according to his official website.

So definitely steeper than a $70 ticket or a possible couple hundred for a VIP pass.

Multiple images of Brown have popped up online with the star and his fans in suggestable poses... poses you might not share in the family group chat, let’s just say that.

Some people on a Reddit thread that brought attention to the expensive meet and greet insisted while the fans agreed to the pictures, they're are actually quite 'sad'.

“Sad is the definition I would give to the audience members that are willingly happy to pay that kinda amount to meet,” one user commented.

“If you pay a grand to meet Chris Brown, you deserve to be disappointed,” commented another.

“To put this into perspective, I met Snoop Dogg & got a photo with him backstage with a VIP pass for $250," a third wrote bewildered at the expensive cost.

"Granted this was about 2017, but still, living legend Snoop Dogg for less than 1/4 of what Chris Brown is charging today.”

Over on X, the jokes also began to pour in, with one person commenting: "My girl looked at me sideways when I asked her to put something on the rent but gave Chris Brown $1,111."

And another added: “Won't go 50/50 with her man but $1,111 for a C BREEZY butt grab and a pic."

While the price is steep, the meet and greet with the controversial music artist is priced to be in line with his latest album title.

As well as a photograph and meet, it comes with other perks.

These include two autographed personal items, an 11:11 calendar, a tour gift, a VIP laminate, a signed 8x10 photo, early access to the show and, of course, the much sought-after photo opportunity with Brown himself.

This comes months after Brown was slapped with a lawsuit claiming he beat up a man in a nightclub in London.

The lawsuit, obtained by PEOPLE, alleged Brown struck a man named Amadou 'Abe' Diaw in the face with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila.
