People shocked as Halle Berry appears to reveal x-rated detail in new picture of herself

Social media users were left shocked and confused after Halle Berry appeared to share a photo that would not be considered safe for work.

There's an endless stream of NSFW content out there on the internet, but community guidelines and content warnings usually manage to stop most of them from making their way to our news feeds.

That's part of the reason why fans were left so baffled when Berry shared a picture of herself on X, formerly Twitter, which appeared to show off a part of her body that would usually be well away from the public eye.

Of course, it's not uncommon for celebs to post photos of themselves online, and a lot of times those pictures can be pretty risqué, but Berry's seemed to take things to the next level.

In the snap, the Catwoman actor could be seen posing by a swimming pool in a white dress which was loose around her legs. She'd shared a whole series of photos from the shoot on Instagram, but only chose this particular one to post on X.

Berry had swished the dress so it turned into a blur in the picture, leaving her legs - including the very, very tops of her legs, on display.

To put it bluntly, it seemed like Berry posted a picture with her crotch on full display to the camera.

Though her caption, which read 'a little commotion for the dress', focused on her attire, it was what was underneath that fans honed in on after she shared the image online.

"Halle got da berry out," one person joked on X, as another wrote: "I thought I saw something."

The image is taken far enough away that there are no specific details on show, but dozens of people made the admission that they'd zoomed in to see what was really going on.

X users knew they weren't alone in the action, with one writing: "Raise your hand if you zoomed in."

"Hear that? That's the sound of every single person in the universe zooming in on this pic...," another added.

Bearing in mind the image was posted on Friday (June 21), it's safe to say at least one person in Berry's circle would by now have alerted her if she really had gone full-frontal to the entire internet.

With that in mind, it seems like Berry knew exactly what she was doing when she posted the image, in which she seems to have actually been wearing nude underwear to prevent anything from being on display.

Whatever her thinking when Berry shared the photo, it's safe to say her post got people talking!
