Charlie Sheen has admitted he hasn't spoken to his daughter Sami in a year after she joined OnlyFans in 2022.
Sami Sheen became one of OnlyFans' newest creators three years ago after liking the idea of controlling her own working hours and the freedom of making her own money.
Her mom, Denise Richards, wasn't initially over the moon with the idea and encouraged her to 'think twice'.
Golden-Globe winner Sheen had a similar reaction, telling Bustle: "I had a knee-jerk reaction to it because of the reputation that preceded it. I was just like, ‘Oh, this can only go bad.'"

Sheen went on to admit that's not usually his approach to new things, but explained: "I think when your child is involved, it presents as just a whole different alternative set of circumstances."
Since then, Sheen has admitted he hasn't spoke to Sami for a year after falling out with her over the OnlyFans career path she has taken.

"Yeah, it’s awful. I can’t lie to you. But I’m almost unrealistically optimistic, because I have to be … there’s always shots to repair anything," he told Page Six.

"It saddens me, but I have hope and I have faith that it can be restored, but that can’t happen until there’s a line of communication that reopens."
Sami did previously have the support of her father, however, as Sheen previously explained to Bustle: "She’s doing this and it can only be a much more successful and pleasant experience with the support of myself, her mom, and others.
"I have to have confidence and just know in my heart that all of her virtues and all the wonderfulness that makes her, her, come with her. I believe her to be incorruptible.”
After joining the adult-only platform, Sami 'got a lot of backlash' from people online, though there are some who offered their support.

"I could have mascara running down my face, and they would still be like, ‘You’re so beautiful,’ this and this," she said. "They just made me realize some of the stuff that other people are saying on the internet is just not true.”
Sheen is doing the media rounds because of aka Charlie Sheen, a new documentary about the actor's life releasing on Netflix this week.
In the doc, his eventful life is told through his own voice, while viewers are also set to hear anecdotes from his second ex-wife, Denise Richards, Oscar award-winner Sean Penn, as well as comedian Chris Tucker.
