Gen V star Chance Perdomo shared chilling photo before fatal bike crash

The actor died in a motorbike accident over the weekend

Chance Perdomo shared a chilling post online just weeks before being involved in a fatal motorcycle crash.

The actor's representatives confirmed he had passed away on March 30.

Perdomo was just 27 years old at the time of his death.

He was widely known for his performance as Andre Anderson in The Boys spinoff series Gen V, which follows a training academy for young superheroes run by the sinister corporation Vought.

His representatives from Shelter PR released a statement following his death.

“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest,” the statement read.

“We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

In one of his final posts to his one million followers on Instagram, Perdomo shared a number of snaps accompanied by the caption: "Day 77. Final calm before storm. #backontheroad."

One pic was of him reclining on a couch, another was a selfie in the mirror and the final was a photo of a motorcycle.

Fans piled into the comments to pay tribute to the late actor and to offer their condolences.

One wrote: "It is so sad to loose someone so unexpectedly in such a horrible way... Condolences to his family and friends."

A third commented: "Gosh !! Can't believe it ... I just read the article you'll be missed," while someone else said: “Rest on Young Legend. It's so sad you left this world so soon."

The producers of Gen V released statement following Perdomo's untimely death.

They wrote: "We can't quite wrap out heads around this.

"For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.

"Even writing about him in the past doesn't make sense. We are so sorry for Chance's family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight."

The production on the next season of Gen V has been officially delayed following Perdomo's death.
