Britney Spears has made it clear that she is not happy about the conclusion to her latest legal issues.

The music icon has been having ongoing legal issues with her father Jamie Spears over the conservatorship she suffered through during the most popular time of her career.

When news broke of what Britney Spears had to go through, fans were left stunned, and many offered their support to the star.

In November 2021, those same fans were delighted to see Spears released from her 13-year-long conservatorship, however, legal issues with her father persisted.

These issues were thought to be ending after it was announced last week that the pair had settled the issues out of court.

Speaking to People, the pair’s attorneys said they settled for an undisclosed sum Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, April 25.

However, Spears has thrown a spanner in the works and took to social media to clarify that she was not happy about the situation.

This is despite the fact that her attorney, Mathew S. Rosengart, said the settlement was an important step forward for the singer’s freedom.

“Although the conservatorship was terminated in November, 2021, her wish for freedom is now truly complete,” he said.

“As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter.”

The music star has since deleted her Instagram page, not long after claiming she will never truly receive justice.

In the picture, Spears complained of severe nerve damage and told her fans of the ongoing health issues she now faces.

“I was actually right about nerve damage in my back!!!'” she said in the caption.

“I have to get [acupuncture] every day of my life now!!! Words and thinking too hard make it worse!!! If people only knew how I've had to crawl to my own door one time!!!"

Britney continued: “My family hurt me!!! There has been no justice and probably never will be!!! The people who sat and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months are smooth sailing!!!"

As chilling as this message was, it was made even more concerning when Britney shared her latest book recommendation.

Posting the cover of former actress Jennette McCurdy's I'm Glad My Mom Died, Britney captioned the pic, ‘Stay nice folks! Good book'.

This has led some fans to come to the conclusion Britney has felt some affinity to McCurdy’s story as the book details the abuse the actress face at the hands of her mother who died in 2013.
