Brad Pitt admits his ‘diabolical’ behavior on movie set caused production to pause

The actor said that 'something hit him' suddenly

Brad Pitt has done a lot over his decades-long Hollywood career.

The actor has won Oscars, gone through two very public breakups, and starred in some of the biggest movies of the last 30 years. But now, the actor is owning up to a moment on set that might be his most chaotic role yet… and it didn’t even make it into the script.

Speaking on the New Heights podcast with NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce, the 61-year-old actor (the real one, not the AI version) confessed to a moment so foul it literally cleared the set and shut down filming.

Pitt said the incident happened while shooting a scene in a cramped café with 60 people around.

“I was stuck in this chair,” he said. “Nature took its course.”

So, what exactly happened?

Well, turns out Pitt had committed fully to his role — a little too fully. The scene involved his character scarfing down a massive plate of beans and bacon, having not eaten for days.

And, in true method fashion, Pitt didn’t fake it; he ate the full plate. Over and over again.

“I just powered down this plate of beans,” he explained. “Take two, do the same thing. Take three, I do the same thing. Take four, I do the same thing. Something hit me.”

The result? Total carnage.

“There was nothing I could do,” Pitt continued. “I was stuck in this chair, nature took its course. And then, suddenly, the entire crew, the most diabolical something-something descended on the crew in the whole room, and they fled the café. Fled.”

Though he didn’t name the movie in question, fans have speculated he was referring to Johnny Suede, the 1991 indie flick where he did, in fact, eat baked beans on screen.

Now, Pitt says he’s learned his lesson: “Ever since then, I pace myself.”

The Fight Club star also opened up about earlier career memories, including the time he was totally starstruck by his Thelma & Louise co-stars, Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon.

“When I first met Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, I was. Yeah,” he admitted. “I got over it quickly, though.”

The 1991 role, in which he played a smooth-talking hitchhiker who steals Thelma’s cash after a night together, was a breakout moment for Pitt — and one that still gets talked about decades later.

During the podcast, Pitt also revealed he’s a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, which led to an apology from Travis Kelce, who is also Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, over their recent Super Bowl loss.

“We got you this year. I let you down,” the tight end told him.

Pitt responded by saying that these defeats were 'what makes sports movies so special', adding: “That's what I mean about life. Life throws struggles your way. Sometimes everything goes quiet, it’s perfection, it’s sublime.

"Other periods, life throws these struggles at you and it’s how you deal with those and how you come back from those."
