Benny Blanco has been slammed online after saying that he would want to invite Hitler onto his podcast.
The record producer was appearing in an episode of the Friends Keep Secrets podcast with Dave Burd (aka Lil Dicky) and Kristin Batalucco.
In the podcast, Burd and Batalucco's home has been rigged up with loads of cameras, which follow the three as they interact in a candid, reality TV style setup.
One episode shared to the podcast's YouTube channel saw the three posing each other a question.

But the answer they all came up with ended up proving extremely controversial online when the episode was aired.
This was a 'dream dinner party' style question, like where people say who would be their dream dinner party guest, except instead of a dinner guest, it was a podcast guest.

Burd asked: "Enough about brands, ads, let's talk about guests. Who would be your favourite guest to have on?"
Blanco replied by clarifying if the guest was someone 'dead or alive', as the format often goes.
The trio decided that they were going to start off with people who are no longer with us.
Batalucco went first, and said: "I wonder if there would be any value in having Hitler on?"
Both of the others then immediately exclaimed: "Oh! That was mine!"
"Just to see if he takes it all back," Batalucco added. "And also for the people that believe [the Holocaust] didn't happen."
Blanco would go on comment in the segment: “I don't think he takes anything back. I would ask what was the deal, Hit?
"Do you think it would be hypospadias that drove him to insanity?"
Hypospadius is a congenital defect in which the opening to the urethra is at the bottom of the penis rather than the tip. Historians Jonathan Mayo and Emma Craigie think Hitler had the condition, along with a micro-penis, citing the dictator's medical records. Other historians disagree.

The sequence, not to mention its tone, was not well-received online, with many people taking to social media to share their anger at the choice.
One person wrote: "Ugh, what a lack of awareness... There are so many interesting historical figures to interview and he goes straight for the worst human being in history? Ridiculous indeed."
Others were a little more blunt, with one writing: "Wtf is wrong with them", while another posted: "What the actual f**k."
Some in the comments pointed out that Blanco is Jewish. He and his wife Selena Gomez had a hora - a traditional Jewish circle dance - at their wedding, and have celebrated Hanukkah together.
UNILAD has contacted representatives for Benny Blanco for comment.
