Matt Damon is a critically acclaimed American actor, filmmaker, screenwriter and activist.
He was born on 8 October 1970 in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he and his brother were raised by their mother, following their parents’ divorce.
In 1997, Damon rose to fame when he starred in Good Will Hunting, a film he and Ben Affleck wrote together. It won them an Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Screenplay.
This year Damon made a cameo appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder reprising his role as Loki.

He also is set to appear in Christoper Nolan’s biographical film Oppenheimer, taking on the role of Leslie Groves, director of the Manhattan Project.

The American is also known as being the face of Crypto.com, however the star recently came under fire on social media for his campaign “Fortune Favours the Brave” which came a few months before the cryptocurrency crash.

The legendary actor and his family mainly reside in a luxurious $17.9 million mansion in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles.
