Kylie Jenner has been accused of controversially 'mocking' actor, Selena Gomez, which has reportedly resulted in her follower counter plummeting by hundreds of thousands.
What caused this you might be asking?
Well, Kylie was accused of insulting Selena following her brow lamination.
She shared a story, which featured a pic of her eyebrows, that said: "Was this an accident?"
The reality star has since hit back against the accusations, calling them 'reaching'.
She added: "No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly."
However, fans weren't fully convinced and some commenters called her out, writing: "For those saying 'it was an accidental selfie posted' COME.. ON... The billionaire marketer doesn’t accidentally post anything. Be for really real."
While another wrote: "A secure woman would NEVER put another woman down."
According to Social Blade data, Kylie's Instagram following began its decline on Wednesday (22 February), dropping a whopping 124,711 followers.
And in the days that followed, the beauty mogul seems to have lost a further 88,000 followers.
As of writing, her total follower decline is over 212,000.
The mum-of-two has since been surpassed in followers by Gomez, whose account has reportedly gained an extra 2.3 million fans since the drama started on Wednesday (22 February).
The 30-year-old Disney star recently announced that she's taking a break from social media, sharing on a TikTok live stream that she would be 'taking a second from social media because this is a little silly'.
Adding: "I'm 30 and too old for this. But I love you so much and I'll see you guys sooner than later,
"I'm just gonna take a break from everything."
She told the outlet: "People can call me ugly or stupid and I’m like, Whatever. But these people get detailed.
"They write paragraphs that are so specific and mean. I would constantly be crying. I constantly had anxiety. I couldn’t do it anymore. It was a waste of my time."
Gomez added that, out of all the social media channels, she only has TikTok on her phone as she finds it to be 'a little less hostile'.
As for her other social media channels, she explained: "Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them. As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging."
