Kim Kardashian decided to welcome in the holiday season with quite a bizarre cover of a classic Christmas song.

Some fans say Kim Kardashian can do it all... and others are wondering what on Earth she has done now, as her latest venture has raised some eyebrows.

The reality TV star has released a new song to mark her return to music (I also didn’t know she tried her hand at music in the first place).

In one of the strangest things you will likely see this festive period, Kim K has released her song ‘Santa Baby’, a cover of Eartha Kitt’s classic, just in time for Christmas.

However, it is the music video that really has got people talking.

The star shared the video on her Twitter account on December 22 with the caption: “SANTA BABY, FILM DIRECTED BY NADIA LEE COHEN & CHARLIE DENIS, SONG PRODUCED BY TRAVIS BARKER.”

The song is also available on streaming services and was put out through DTA Records, her brother in law Barker's record label, and Kim’s Kimsaprincess, Inc.

And it is safe to say, her fans haven’t quite wrapped their head around the video.

It shows Kim crawling on all fours, money strewn all over the floor, in front of a camera, seemingly using a 90s camcorder filter, as it snows indoors.

It includes a whole host of character appearances, including a few odd looking elves/goblins, the Virgin Mary, and an adult Jesus.

The flick ends with Kim crawling up to the feet of a man in a Santa Claus costume, who turned out to be none other than Home Alone lead, Macaulay Culkin.

Writing on Twitter, one person said: “Genuinely just don’t know what to make of this.”

Another stern critic wrote: “Guess we’re all supposed to praise how wonderfully creative and out of the box this 'art' is. Frankly just kinda dumb imho.

A third person wrote: “Is this for Halloween…. because this scares me.”

Another added: “Honestly i love her but this was super disturbing to watch.”

It isn’t clear whether the most famous Kardashian will be making more music, but she has previously questioned why she initially tried her hand it in with her first song Jam way back in 2011.

A few years later in 2014, she said: “It’s definitely a memory and it was a fun experience. We gave the proceeds to a cancer organization.

“I don’t like it when people kind of dabble into things they shouldn’t be. And that I don’t think I should have. Like, what gave me the right to think I could be a singer? Like, I don’t have a good voice.”

Either way, it looks like the star enjoyed shooting the very out-there music video.
