Kim Kardashian fans think they've spotted reference to Playboy shoot in Met Gala outfit
People did a double take when they saw the reality TV star walking down the red carpet.
Kim Kardashian has arrived onto the red carpet for the the 2023 Met Gala.
The reality TV star turned businesswoman is always one of the biggest names at the annual event as fans are desperate to see what she wears.
Kim has always been known to stick close to the theme and often appears on publishers' Best Dressed lists.
This year's theme is paying homage to the late Karl Lagerfeld, the iconic fashion designer who was Chanel's creative director for years.

He died in 2019 and stars have been asked to pay tribute to his impact on fashion with their looks tonight.
Kim stepped onto the red carpet in New York City wearing an outfit that was dripping in pearls.
According to Vogue, it 'featured layers of interlocking pearl necklaces that splayed out from the collar', which 'cascaded down, with the layered look mimicked by even more pearls that wrapped around her legs'.
It was a beautiful outfit, however many fans thought it looked like something she's done before.
Many couldn't put their fingers on it and then the hammer dropped.
It's very reminiscent of her iconic photoshoot that she did with Playboy, where her mom Kris Jenner told her she's 'doing amazing sweetie'.
In that look, Kim was also dressed in pearls and virtually nothing else.
One person on Twitter said: "Kim Kardashian’s dress for the #MetGala was beautiful. She was paying homage to herself when she posed for Playboy."
Another added: "You mean to tell me this isn’t what Kim wore to her Playboy photoshoot in 2008?"
A third wrote: "Is somebody else thinking about how Kim Kardashians dress is just like the one she wore in playboy."
A fourth quipped: "Just me, or is Kim K wearing the same thing she wore to her Playboy shoot?"
However, this time round she was dressed in a little more fabric as the world's cameras shuttered and flickered towards her.
She was also joined at the Met Gala by her daughter North.
Vogue said the nine-year-old 'featured a pearl-encrusted blazer, paired over a set of stonewashed jeans, a nod to some of Lagerfeld’s most memorable sartorial moments'.
She also carried a clutch in the shape of a grenade that was also covered in pearls.
