Kevin and Danielle Jonas admit they feel 'less than' Nick, Joe and their wives Priyanka and Sophie

During a joint appearance on the LadyGang podcast last week, Danielle admitted that she has a 'love-hate' relationship with Kevin's fame.

Fans all over the world have been suckers for Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas — also known as the Jonas Brothers — since they released their debut album in 2006.

Now, eldest brother Kevin and his wife Danielle have opened up about the reality of feeling 'less than' Nick, Joe, Priyanka and Sophie, after years of comparisons.

During a joint appearance on the LadyGang podcast last week, Danielle admitted that she has a 'love-hate' relationship with Kevin's fame.

"I feel like I am torn," she shared. "Finding my place in it, because the two boys married somebody who, they're actresses, they're out there, everyone knows them. And I feel like I'm Danielle, you know, and it's hard."

Nick married Indian actress and Miss World 2000 winner, Priyanka Chopra in 2018 and Joe Jonas married Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner a year later.

Kevin then added, "I think everyone's listening [and] they're like, 'No, not even close, what are you talking about?!' But I feel that way too."

Following four successful albums, in 2013, the brothers announced that they were parting ways and pursuing solo careers.

In the years that followed, Joe formed a new band called DNCE, who released their hit single 'Cake by the Ocean' in 2015 and was also a judge on Season 7 of The Voice Australia.

The youngest of the trio, Nick, also had great success with a 2014 self-titled album featuring chart-topping hits such as 'Chains' and 'Jealous.' He also starred in several hit TV series like Kingdom and Scream Queens.

Meanwhile, Kevin stepped back from the spotlight slightly, focusing primarily on his wife and family (the couple welcomed two daughters, Alena Rose and Valentine Angelina, in 2014 and 2016).

They admit the others' successes sometimes leave them feeling 'less than.'

On the podcast, he spoke about finding his place in the band — which reformed in 2019 — alongside his brothers' solo successes: "Nick and Joe, right? Like solo careers, movies, all this stuff. It's like everyone has to find their place..."

Danielle also added that she sometimes wants to have 'something else' to her name when she compares herself to Sophie and Priyanka.

"It's also that, like, I'm out there celebrity-wise because I've married you," she said to Kevin. "And that's where it's like, 'Oh, I wanna have something else to my name too.' So that it feels, I don't know... More than, or like, the other girls. 'Cause then when I'm with the other girls, I feel just less than sometimes. It's weird."
