Jimmy Fallon has blown viewers away with his singing voice.

Anyone who has watched the TV host on The Tonight Show will know that Fallon is no stranger to being able to bust out a note.

However, this usually happens next to someone who is undeniably talented in the singing department and therefore his voice often gets overshadowed.

Not this time though.

The 48-year-old decided to go on The Voice for the blind auditions to show just how good he is.

Judges Chance the Rapper, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and Niall Horan all sat patiently as the mystery singer approached the stage.

The music kicked in and Fallon started belting out his best rendition of 'I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near)' by Michael McDonald.

The crowd went wild, mainly because it was a major TV host on stage singing to the judges who had no idea who was performing.

But as he kept singing, Kelly, Niall and Chance kept looking at each other and started to think this guy has some pipes.

Kelly Clarkson was the first to push her buzzer and she was positively shocked when she realized who that voice belonged to.

Niall and Chance were quick to follow but Blake held out and didn't look like he enjoyed the rendition of the song.

Instead of continuing on stage, Fallon brought the performance straight to Shelton.

Blake burst out laughing and Jimmy pushed the button for the country singer.

He said once the performance was done: "It didn't take me long to figure out that it was Jimmy Fallon.

"And there was no way I was gonna hit my button, he does not deserve the chair turn on this show.

"Jimmy's impersonation is the equivalent of walking up to Michael McDonald and slapping him in the face as hard as you can,"

People watching at home were so surprised at Fallon's pipes and some have even gone as far as saying this was the 'wildest' blind audition they've ever seen.

One viewer wrote: "Ooh wow! Jimmy has a good singing voice. Also his stage moves seems like a good performer. This was hilarious and fun."

Another added: "Can we talk about how he actually sang good!"

A third said: "Let’s not forget this man has a GRAMMY! That’s something he has on half the coaches. Blake’s never won one and Niall’s never even been nominated. Do not underestimate Jimmy’s musical talent!"

A fourth commented: "Jimmy that was out of mind soooo good ! I loved it ! I also loved the coaches reactions ! It was hilarious but I so love Jimmy and his voice!"

Maybe he should actually apply and see how far he gets.
