Sporting a cane and a single-leg knee scooter, the Marvel actor was all smiles during his first big event.

Jeremy Renner has made his first red carpet appearance since his near-fatal snowplow accident.

The Marvel actor has been slowly recuperating after a huge snow-clearing machine smashed into him earlier this year.

He's been diligently working away at his rehabilitation and it looks like it's paid off.

Renner has been able to walk and glide down the red carpet for the upcoming series Rennervations.

The Disney+ TV show will see the 52-year-old team up with 'expert builders to acquire large, decommissioned government vehicles and re-imagine them as mind-blowing creations that serve kids in communities worldwide'.

His 10-year-old daughter Ava accompanied him down the carpet and they were all smiles during the big press event.

Renner broke more than 30 bones in the horrifying incident on New Year's Day and recently opened up about his fears on whether he'd survive.

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, he said of his broken bones: "We kept discovering them as we were going along.

"It went from critical order, like, priority of what I'm going to die from or not.

"And then six weeks later, I'm finding another break and another break and another break."

He said the only silver lining to be gleaned from the whole incident was that his calendar for 2023 is now wide open and free.

But the fact that he's able to walk and glide down the red carpet is a sheer miracle.

Had the snowplow incident happened in just a slightly different way, the results could have been far more permanent.

Speaking on Kimmel's talkshow, Renner said: "It just missed every vertebra, didn't hit any organs, didn't hit my brain, didn't swell, nothing like that.

"My eye did pop out, that's weird. But I got pretty lucky that none of my organs got messed up.

"It pierced my liver but that wasn't dangerous."

Thankfully there were people there that were able to look after him immediately after the accident.

"If I had been alone, that would have been a horrible way to die," Renner said in a recent interview.

"And surely I would have. Surely.

"But I wasn't alone. [I was with] my nephew. Sweet Alex. And the rest of the calvary came."

Opening up about the accident, he explained: “It’s hard to imagine what that feels like, but when you look at the machine and you look at.

"I was on asphalt and ice. I wish I was on snow. It felt like someone took the wind out of you.

"Too many things are going on in the body to feel pain, it’s everything. It’s like if your soul could have pain."
